Target ilvl 334 Updated: 2026-10-16
Holy Paladin's best-in-slot page follows the Herald of the Sun hero talent at a 334 target item level, assembled slot by slot from the gear top Mythic raid parses on WarcraftLogs wear, ranked by usage percentage and checked against a separate Mythic+ column rather than any simulation. Raid secondary stats favour Mastery at 37.2% and Haste at 30.0%, with Critical Strike at 24.9% and Versatility the smallest share at 7.8%. The neck slot is again led by the Aqirbane Reliquary at 73.3% over the Pendant of Malefic Fury's 10.0%, though the margin here is narrower than on several sibling specs' pages. Eleven slots on this page show the Mythic+ top pick diverging from the raid favourite, by far the highest count among the specs covered here, which makes Holy Paladin the clearest case of needing genuinely different gear for dungeons versus raiding. The waist slot captures that tension in miniature: the Girdle of Pestilent Purification from a Mythic+ dungeon leads at just 17.2%, barely ahead of the Spellbreaker's Girdle's 17.1%, essentially a coin flip. Rings tell a similar story, the Sickening Signet of Atroxus out of Voidscar Arena sits at 28.7% against the Vile Alchemist's Band's 15.9%, and the back slot's Bloodthorn Burnous from The Blinding Vale leads at 21.3% over the Speakeasy Shroud's 18.6%. Because so many of this spec's top picks come from Mythic+ dungeons rather than the raid, six from The Venomous Abyss but two each from Kings' Rest and Voidscar Arena, players should treat the weekly dungeon pool as seriously as raid progress when gearing Holy Paladin. The weapon pair is more decisive: the Crafted Magister's Mana Sword leads at 58.3% over the Malevolent Spiritcudgel's 22.2%, and the Spellbreaker's Rebuke off-hand sits at 39.4% against the Bubblefin Splash Guard's 28.7%. With the trinket slot's Soulcoiler Ritual Vessel at 53.6% against Gebbo's Bottomless Bag's 42.6%, that is one of the few genuinely raid-favoured picks on this list, data as of September 25, 2026.

Crafted gear can carry an embellishment, and a character can only wear 2 of those at once. This list has 3 crafted pieces — pick the two with the highest usage below.

Fit = the filler's two secondaries' share in this spec's top-player stat split ÷ the top two stats' share; below 65% the addon does not count the converted piece as graduated.

Ordered by how often top players wear the tier piece in that slot — that is a pick rate, not item power. A 4-piece bonus only needs four of the five slots, so the lowest one can be skipped.
