Blood Death Knight BiS — Midnight Season 2

Blood Death Knight's gear page tracks the San'layn hero talent at a 334 target item level, built from the top Mythic raid and Mythic+ parses recorded on WarcraftLogs rather than any simulation. Usage percentages describe what the highest parses actually equip, slot by slot, with a separate column where the Mythic+ pick diverges from the raid pick. On the secondary stats, raid parses lean hardest into Haste at 37.7%, ahead of Critical Strike at 33.6%, Mastery at 17.3% and Versatility at 11.3%. The Venomous Abyss supplies nine of the listed pieces, with three more coming from crafted recipes and single items from Temple of Sethraliss, Altar of Fangs and Den of Nalorakk. Some slots show a clear favourite: the Aqirbane Reliquary holds the neck at 67.5% usage over the Sentinel's Vitriolic Chain's 11.6%, and the crafted Spellbreaker's Bracers take the wrist at 74.5% against the Shellbound Bracers' 11.0%. Trinkets pair the same way in both slots, with the Voracious Heart of Ula'tek at 58.9% usage ahead of Zul'jin's Guillotine Technique at 46.1%. The waist tells a different story: the Girdle of Toxic Regret and the Forgotten Grotto Girdle are tied at 26.9% usage each, a genuine coin flip among top parses. Head, Shoulder, Chest, Legs and Hands flip the pattern again - the piece listed as the top pick carries no recorded usage share of its own, while its runner-up instead holds 76.6% to 89.1% of the slot, meaning most top parses are actually wearing that second item. Across all slots, the Mythic+ pick differs from the raid pick seven times. When your own item level sits below 334, prioritize the Venomous Abyss drops and the Spellbreaker's Bracers first, since those carry the widest usage margins and the clearest gearing priority. Treat the waist as genuinely interchangeable rather than hunting a specific piece, since both options sit at 26.9%. For Head, Shoulder, Chest, Legs and Hands, read the runner-up column rather than the top-listed item, since that is what the great majority of top parses actually wear. Because seven slots change pick between the raid and Mythic+ columns, check both before committing a crafted or vault choice, and recheck this page since it reflects pulls recorded as of September 25, 2026.
