Target ilvl 334 Updated: 2026-10-16
Retribution Paladin's gear page is built on the Herald of the Sun hero talent at a 334 target item level, from what the top Mythic raid parses on WarcraftLogs actually wear, with a Mythic+ column checked against it rather than any simulated set. Mastery leads the raid secondary stat split at 37.3%, Critical Strike follows at 32.4%, then Haste at 26.8% and Versatility at 3.5%. Nine of the listed pieces trace to The Venomous Abyss, three are crafted, and one each comes from Murder Row, Temple of Sethraliss and Kings' Rest. The neck, Aqirbane Reliquary, is worn by 77.4% of parses against the Pendant of Malefic Fury's 8.8%, and the crafted wrist, Spellbreaker's Bracers, sits at 73.2% over the Shellbound Bracers' 12.6%. The Consecrated Flame set is the actual majority pick at Head, Chest, Legs and Hands, holding 91.6%, 89.8%, 82.3% and 87.3% of those slots while the item listed first there has no tracked usage of its own. Shoulder is the exception: there the listed Pauldrons of the Consecrated Flame are themselves the top pick, and the Swelling Sea Spaulders alternative sits at only 3.4%. The trinket pairing is close, with Zul'jin's Guillotine Technique at 57.8% barely ahead of the Voracious Heart of Ula'tek's 54.5%. Eight slots see the Mythic+ pick differ from the raid pick. Below 334 item level, prioritize the neck and the crafted wrist first, since both carry the clearest usage margins. For Head, Chest, Legs and Hands, follow the Consecrated Flame set that most top parses actually wear rather than the single item listed first; at Shoulder, the listed piece is already correct since its alternative is picked by so few. Don't assume the trinket slot is settled, since the gap between the top two choices is under three points and either sees real play. Because eight slots differ between raid and Mythic+ here, check that column separately before gearing for keys, current as of September 25, 2026.

Crafted gear can carry an embellishment, and a character can only wear 2 of those at once. This list has 3 crafted pieces — pick the two with the highest usage below.

Fit = the filler's two secondaries' share in this spec's top-player stat split ÷ the top two stats' share; below 65% the addon does not count the converted piece as graduated.

Ordered by how often top players wear the tier piece in that slot — that is a pick rate, not item power. A 4-piece bonus only needs four of the five slots, so the lowest one can be skipped.
