Target ilvl 334 Updated: 2026-10-16
Scalecommander sets the frame for this Devastation Evoker best-in-slot page, built to a 334 item level target from what the top Mythic raid parses on WarcraftLogs actually wear, slot by slot, with a Mythic+ column standing alongside it rather than any simulated output. Critical strike dominates the raid secondary-stat split at 43.0%, ahead of mastery at 27.3%, haste at 24.3%, and versatility at just 5.4%. The neck sets the pattern again: the Aqirbane Reliquary is worn by 87.4% of top parses, far ahead of the Strand of Warding Fangs' 3.2%. Only two slots see the Mythic+ pick diverge from the raid favourite, the tightest split of any set on this page, and the off-hand shows the sharpest concentration of all: the crafted Aln'hara Lantern reaches 93.3% usage against the Frostscale's Mystic Frond's 3.3%. The main hand follows a similar pattern with Jan'thrazet, the Soul Fang, at 67.2% over the Malevolent Spiritcudgel's 3.8%. The waist and trinket rows are closer contests — the Serpentine Mixing Belt leads at 28.5% over the Cursed Reliquary Cincture's 25.1%, and the Gebbo's Bottomless Bag leads both trinket slots at 38.0% against the Wavecaller's Seastone's 31.1%. The Venomous Abyss supplies ten of the tracked pieces, with Murder Row contributing three, two crafted items, and one from The Tidebound Grotto. Because only two slots split between raid and Mythic+ here, the raid-column pick is a safe default across most of the set, and the off-hand and main hand are worth securing early since both show one weapon far outpacing its alternative. The waist and trinket slots deserve a second look if your drops land close to the runner-up share, since neither clears a 30 percentage point lead. For the head, shoulder, chest, legs, and hands rows, where the top pick shows no usage share of its own, weigh item level against your current gear rather than assume the listed item is an automatic upgrade.

Crafted gear can carry an embellishment, and a character can only wear 2 of those at once. This list has 3 crafted pieces — pick the two with the highest usage below.

Tier pieces do not drop. Bosses drop a filler for the same slot; you convert it and the item level stays. Conversion keeps the filler's secondary stats — so picking a filler is really picking stats.

Fit = the filler's two secondaries' share in this spec's top-player stat split ÷ the top two stats' share; below 65% the addon does not count the converted piece as graduated.

Ordered by how often top players wear the tier piece in that slot — that is a pick rate, not item power. A 4-piece bonus only needs four of the five slots, so the lowest one can be skipped.
