This page shows the most popular talent builds for Demonology Warlocks, based on top WarcraftLogs parses across raid bosses and Mythic+ dungeons. For each encounter, we list the hero talent used by the highest-performing players, along with the number of distinct builds that appear among the top parses. The data covers 83 distinct talent strings, but the hero-talent share is calculated per parse (n=112).
Across every raid boss and every Mythic+ key level (high keys and farm), the hero talent Diabolist is used by 100% of top parses. This means top players overwhelmingly favour Diabolist over other options, regardless of the encounter. For example, on Nek'zali the Soulcoiler, five distinct builds are listed, all using Diabolist. Similarly, in high-key Mythic+ dungeons like Ruby Life Pools, five builds appear, again all Diabolist. When reading the table, focus on the hero talent column and the number of builds per encounter: a higher build count indicates more variation within the Diabolist tree, but the hero talent remains constant.

How to unlock the Omnium Folio and fill the rows
At level 80, take The Magisters' Call from the Magister's Missive at the Field Accolade Quartermasters in Silvermoon City, help Grand Magister Rommath and Magister Umbric restore the Sunstrider Omnium in Eversong Woods, and finish The Omnium Reawakens for the Folio and row 1. Then each week the Seeking Knowledge quest at the Sunstrider Omnium pays one Mote of Omnial Inquiry, one row per mote: week 2 Ritualized Arcana ×8 (Ritual Sites), week 3 Dark-Ley Coalescence ×5 (Void Incursions), week 4 Pure Primessence ×1 (delves, dungeons, raid or strongbox), week 5 an alien magic fragment from Showdown world bosses plus 3 world quests. Motes are account-wide once one character has done the quest; since 12.1 alts skip the intro. The Folio UI opens from the map and runes can be swapped freely out of combat.
