King's Rest — Mythic+ Guide

Aggregated from 30 top WarcraftLogs key runs (108 deaths studied). Interrupt rates show what the best groups actually kick — a priority list straight from the data.

King's Rest comes from the same method applied across this dungeon set: 30 of the highest-ranked WarcraftLogs Mythic+ runs, with 107 deaths recorded across that sample. Six casts are tracked here, and their kick rates run from 66% up to 99%, with five of the six already sitting at must-kick tier rather than merely high. The standout number is Poison Nova's 99% kick rate, about as close to universal as this page records, while the deadliest logged ability, Wail of Mourning, accounts for 14 of the sample's 107 deaths. Phantom Hex Priest is the one caster with two different tracked casts, and groups treat them unevenly: Spectral Bolt sits at only 66%, high tier, while Hex climbs to 90%, must tier, so the crowd-control cast gets covered far more reliably than the damage bolt from the same enemy. Wretched Discharge, shared by Half-Finished Mummy and Finished Mummy, sits at 84% must-kick yet still shows up as the third deadliest ability at 12 deaths, meaning the misses that do happen are still costing lives. Soul Bolt from Queen Wasi at 88% and Shadow Bolt from Risen Hexer at 78% round out the must tier, while Wail of Mourning and Suppression Slam, both outside the tracked interrupt list despite 14 and 12 deaths respectively, point to mechanics rather than missed kicks. With five of six tracked casts sitting at must-kick, King's Rest rewards a disciplined interrupt rotation more than any single standout cooldown. Phantom Hex Priest is the one target where you have to choose, and the numbers say prioritize Hex over Spectral Bolt whenever both are available. Because Wretched Discharge still kills people at an 84% kick rate, keep a healing cooldown ready for the Mummy pulls specifically, and treat the untracked Wail of Mourning and Suppression Slam as positioning problems to dodge rather than casts to interrupt.
