Shaman Restoration Macros

Ready-to-paste macros for Restoration Shaman: the burst key derived from the current top parses, plus the macros this spec actually uses. Spell names follow the language you pick on this site, so they match your game client.

Restoration Shaman's burst-key scenes each come from three top-ranked WarcraftLogs openings, with the bar at one opener out of three. Raid bosses open with Riptide and no off-GCD cooldown qualified, so the key is Riptide plus trinket /use lines. Mythic+ AoE pulls also open with Riptide and fold in Nature's Swiftness with trinkets. Mythic+ single-target pulls open with Healing Wave and Nature's Swiftness, without a trinket line. In the raid and AoE openings the sampled players also used Bloodlust or Heroism, and it stays out of the key on purpose because the group decides when it goes. The spec macros make one key do two jobs where it helps. Chain Heal on ally / Flame Shock on enemy heals a friendly mouseover and otherwise puts Flame Shock on your target. Unleash Life / Healing Stream Totem uses a known: check so the same slot follows your talent choice. Wind Shear and Purge start with stopcasting and go to your focus first, so an interrupt is never delayed by a heal you are casting. Healing Rain lands at the cursor, and Wind Rush Totem comes in a feet version and a cursor version. Paste into a new macro and match spell names to your client language.

#showtooltip Riptide
/use 13
/use 14
/cast Riptide

A macro can fire only one global-cooldown ability per press — that is the game's limit, not ours. So a burst key is exactly: on-use trinkets + the off-GCD cooldowns top players press in their opener + one opener spell. Nothing else fits.

Bloodlust / Time Warp is called by the raid leader, so it is deliberately left out.

Off-GCD cooldowns pressed within the first 8 casts by at least 1 of the 3 sampled players, defensives and movement removed. Ends with the first on-GCD opener so everything fires in one press.

Slot 13 / 14: the data cannot tell which slot the on-use trinket sits in, so both are listed; the passive one just prints cannot use.
