Mage Arcane Macros

Ready-to-paste macros for Arcane Mage: the burst key derived from the current top parses, plus the macros this spec actually uses. Spell names follow the language you pick on this site, so they match your game client.

This Arcane Mage page opens with a burst key drawn from three top WarcraftLogs openers. On a raid boss and on a Mythic+ single target the key has the same shape: open with Arcane Surge and fold in Touch of the Magi, which at least two of the three openers pressed. The Mythic+ AoE key opens with Arcane Orb and adds no off-GCD cooldown. In both the raid and AoE samples Bloodlust appeared early, but it is intentionally kept out of the key because lust is called by the group, not timed by one player. Each scene appends trinket /use lines. The spec macros cover burst and safety. The Arcane Surge macro also fires the racials Ancestral Call, Berserking and Blood Fury plus both trinket slots. Blink starts with /stopcasting so it goes off mid-cast, Ice Block cancels itself when pressed again, and two one-line macros cancel Ice Block or Alter Time on their own. Remove Curse checks your mouseover first and falls back to your target. Copy a macro, set this site to your client language so the names match your spellbook, and paste it in game.

A macro can fire only one global-cooldown ability per press — that is the game's limit, not ours. So a burst key is exactly: on-use trinkets + the off-GCD cooldowns top players press in their opener + one opener spell. Nothing else fits.

Bloodlust / Time Warp is called by the raid leader, so it is deliberately left out.

Off-GCD cooldowns pressed within the first 8 casts by at least 2 of the 3 sampled players, defensives and movement removed. Ends with the first on-GCD opener so everything fires in one press.

Slot 13 / 14: the data cannot tell which slot the on-use trinket sits in, so both are listed; the passive one just prints cannot use.
