Evoker Preservation Macros

Ready-to-paste macros for Preservation Evoker: the burst key derived from the current top parses, plus the macros this spec actually uses. Spell names follow the language you pick on this site, so they match your game client.

The burst key for Preservation is derived from three top-ranked WarcraftLogs openings per scene. On raid bosses the sampled healers open with Fire Breath and pair it with Tip the Scales, which appeared in at least two of the three openers; no trinket line was added there. Mythic+ AoE pulls open with Dream Breath and fold in Stasis (Store) plus trinket /use lines, again at the two-of-three bar. Mythic+ single-target pulls start with Merithra's Blessing with only a one-opener bar, and still no off-GCD cooldown qualified, so that version is just the opener with trinkets. The spec macros are a consistent mouseover set: Emerald Blossom, Rescue, Verdant Embrace and Cauterizing Flame all use [@mouseover,help,nodead][], meaning they land on the friendly player under your cursor and fall back to your current target when nobody is there. That pattern suits raid frames, where you hover a frame and press the key without clicking first. The last card is a template built the same way around Living Flame; replace the spell name to make a mouseover version of any other heal. Paste into a new macro and match spell names to your client language.

Burst key

Burst key — from the top parses above Macro commands →
#showtooltip Fire Breath
/cast Tip the Scales
/cast Fire Breath

A macro can fire only one global-cooldown ability per press — that is the game's limit, not ours. So a burst key is exactly: on-use trinkets + the off-GCD cooldowns top players press in their opener + one opener spell. Nothing else fits.

Off-GCD cooldowns pressed within the first 8 casts by at least 2 of the 3 sampled players, defensives and movement removed. Ends with the first on-GCD opener so everything fires in one press.

Burst key — from the top parses above Macro commands →
#showtooltip Dream Breath
/use 13
/use 14
/cast Stasis (Store)
/cast Dream Breath

A macro can fire only one global-cooldown ability per press — that is the game's limit, not ours. So a burst key is exactly: on-use trinkets + the off-GCD cooldowns top players press in their opener + one opener spell. Nothing else fits.

Off-GCD cooldowns pressed within the first 8 casts by at least 2 of the 3 sampled players, defensives and movement removed. Ends with the first on-GCD opener so everything fires in one press.

Slot 13 / 14: the data cannot tell which slot the on-use trinket sits in, so both are listed; the passive one just prints cannot use.
