Mages are the most conservative rework: six new talents, and every capstone — Arcane Power, Combustion, Ice Barrier — is the Classic one. What is new is the connective tissue: Arcane Blast and Missile Barrage in Arcane, Hot Streak in Fire, Ice Lance and Fingers of Frost in Frost. The trainable Frostfire Bolt is both Fire and Frost, and four talents reference it.
One Tier 1 set, Manaflare Regalia, shared by all specs; its 5-piece pushes Frostfire Bolt into all three trees' procs — a 10% higher Missile Barrage chance, 10% higher crit while Combustion is active, 10% higher Fingers of Frost chance. Orc Mages are new on the beta roster.
